Good Monday morning: As one of your vendors we just thought that we would like to send a short note to say "THANK YOU". All the individuals that we came in contact with were just great and it was the dedication of all the volunteers that made this weekend such a success. Even though Mother Nature treated all of us [some worse than others] with problems and challenges, the events and the activities that did happen were heading this Art in the Park to an all time high. CONGRATULATIONS! Adversity brings out the best and the worst and the volunteers came forward in an exemplary manner. One of our many regrets was the fact that there were so many that didn't get the opportunity to participate in this event on the Sunday, they missed a great event. We look forward to next year and know that it will be better than ever. Please feel free to utilize/circulate this email as you see fit. If you feel it should be a "letter to the editor", don't hesitate to send it to the appropriate media.

Thank you for all your efforts with the show this past weekend. My sales on Saturday were very good. We were very fortunate to have not had more severe weather as the neighbours in Leamington. That was an understandable decision to cancel the show on Sunday.

The weekend at Art in the Park was my first. I have to say that I was helped to take my tent down and was very pleased with the Rotary Club. It was unfortunate the weather but I look forward to next year and what ever else you have planned. Just keep my spot open 136C. I liked it a lot . . . it even came with an inground pool in front. My booth number was 505, same as last year and I thank you very much for that. I am a cancer survivor and as I requested in my application a shady spot I couldn’t have asked for more…it was perfect. As far as the Rotary people…there are only a few rotary organizations that I have dealt with but they could take lessons from your organization. The people were most helpful, kind and willing to help out in any way they could. Thanks to you setting up and taking down added to the pleasant events of the weekend. The show is extremely well organized. The park BEAUTIFUL and thanks to your ANGELS (residents) the park grass was in great condition. Thanks you for having a restroom dedicated to the vendors. The added entertainment was great I hope that will be a go for coming shows people of Windsor …FANTASTIC…. What more can be said, I can understand why ART in the Park has vendors that come back year after year, I hope to be one of these vendors. Thank again for a wonderful weekend!" "Ellis & I just want to thank you , the rotary & residents of the area for doing such a great job at Art In The Park 2009.
We were a little apprehensive about the conditions in Windsor due to the strike & economy but if your town is in a recession you sure did your work as all vendors that we spoke to had a terrific show - the customers were out & ready to spend!!!
The new tent with music & food on Saturday & Sunday was terrific - music was wonderful as well as the food from the 3 restaurants (we tried them all!). The music on Sunday was even better than Saturday - at one point I thought I was listening to Billy Joel & it turned out to be someone named Bob Gabrielle.
The town is so clean you wouldn't have know that there was a strike going on - very little garbage & the streets were very clean. We look forward to seeing you all next year."
