AIP is "Going Country" for our AIP Friday Night Launch Party

Grab your Cowboy Boots and Hat for our Friday Night Launch Party on May 31^st for some good fun – country style.  Wear your best country “duds” and join us for some Country Line Dancing and for a chance to win prizes for the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl. 

We start right at 6:00pm with our AIP Karaoke Competition Finals.  If your dream is to sing on a stage in front of a large crowd – here’s your chance. The Bull n Barrel is hosting the Art in the Park Karaoke Contest “audition rounds” every Tuesday in the month of May.  The top eight contestants will be chosen to sing in the Finals on our Spirit Tent stage at our Friday Night Launch Party, for the chance to win the grand prize to star in their own music video and receive a professional press kit.  Top that off with a “meet and greet” with award winning Country Artist – Dallas Smith. 

Before Dallas takes the stage, we proudly present Windsor’s own Crystal Gage.  This Country Entertainer is a crowd favourite and always puts on a terrific show. 

If that wasn’t enough, Art in the Park and Country FM 95.9 are proud to present our headliner act – DALLAS SMITH.  Dallas has just been nominated for a Juno for “Country Album of the Year” AND won “Best New Country Group or Artist” at the Canadian Radio Music Awards!  Pretty impressive for his first Country Album.

   AIPAIP

Art in the Park officially opens it's gates Saturday, June 1st @ 10:00am.  Follow the Diplomats Drum and Bugle Corps as they march us through Willistead Park's 15 acres where we have carefully filled with 283 Artisans from all over Ontario and Quebec.  We welcome you to wander the manicured grounds that lead you through an endless selection of unique treasures and delights. 

You’ll find convenient rest stops at various locations around the park where you can relax under the shade of tall mature trees.  Have a snack at the AIP Food Court, listen to minstrels here and there around the grounds.　　　

Little ones will love the bigger and more exciting AIP Kid's Zone with plenty of supervised things to see and do; including an Art Mural, bouncy castle, crafts, Karaoke for kids, and scheduled shows provided by popular children's entertainer Beebo who will be performing Saturday and Sunday in the Kid's Zone.　　

Art in the Park has been honoured with the FEO Top 100 Festival and Event in Ontario for the 2nd year in a row! 

With over 5,000 different events happening in Ontario, we are ecstatic to be selected as one of the Top 100 once again this year.
