Art in the Manor

Self Led Tours - Friends of Willistead will be stationed in the rooms of the manor to answer your questions.

 

A variety of local art organizations will be providing entertainment, interaction, and information on events happening all year round in Windsor-Essex County for you to enjoy. Also, The Friends of Willistead, will be on-hand to answer questions on the history and décor of the Manor.

The organizations that will be in the Manor this year are as follows:

The Association of Representational Artists (ARA)

The Association of Representational Artists is a group of both novice and professional artists. A member artist will be painting throughout the afternoon on Saturday.

The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Windsor-Essex County

The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Windsor-Essex County is committed to building co-operative relationships in the arts and cultural sector through special events and community projects. Sho Art, Spirit and Performance

Sho Art, Spirit and Performance gathers artists dedicated to the interplay of art, spirit, and performance. This multidisciplinary approach welcomes painters, poets, sculptures, musicians, actors etc. allowing each artist to innovate, collaborate, produce, and present art across all creative borders.

The Arts Council Windsor and Region (ACWR)

The Arts Council Windsor and Region is a community arts council and art service organization that serves all disciplines of individual artists, arts organizations, and non-arts partners in promoting, developing, and realizing creative activity since 1980.

Windsor-Essex Plein Air Group

Local artists come together from across Windsor and Essex County to meet weekly to paint local landscapes.

Literary Arts Windsor/Book Fest

Literary Arts Windsor is dedicated to education, understanding, and appreciation of the literary arts by providing performances of an artistic and literary nature in public places, senior citizens’ homes, performance areas, theatres, and educational institutions.

Please note: a book will be read by Peter Hrastovec in the Library of the Manor.

Windsor Light Music Theatre (WLMT)

Windsor Light Music Theatre strives to produce high quality theatre for the enjoyment of Windsor and surrounding area audiences and provides a creative outlet for our diverse and multi-generational community.

Please note: WLMT will be performing at Art in the Park.
